In this section of our website you can find information on where support is available around the country. Some of this support is based in groups or community centers and some is online support. You can call any of our network of helplines in total confidence to speak to a volunteer about getting support that suits your own individual needs. Support in Cork & South

Cork Gay Project
Cork Gay project includes; Southern Gay Men's Health Service, Unite Youth Group, The Other Place Cafe and Resource Center

Cork Lesbian Line
Cork Lesbian Line is a voluntary helpline for women, providing confidential, informal information and support regarding sexual orientation.

Gay Information Cork
Gay info cork is a help-line service for men. Gay Information Cork is a non-directive, non-judgmental, information and listening service. Operated by trained volunteers on LGBT issues.It is totally confidential.

L.inC
L.Inc is a resource centre in Cork city for Lesbian and bisexual women. We run a full programme of activities and have other supports based in the center such as an alcohol and drugs support group. Please check out our website for full details.

sOUTh
sOUTh is a committee of volunteers, based in Waterford, set up to help and support the LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bi-Sexual and Transgender) community in Waterford and the south-east

Support in Dublin & East

BelongTo Youth Service
BeLonG To is an organisation for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgendered (LGBT) young people, aged between 14 and 23.

Dublin Lesbian Line
We are a support and information service run by lesbian and bi-sexual women for women who are attracted to women, women questioning their sexuality, and their friends and families. We're open every Monday and Thursday night from 7-9pm, and will always treat your call in a friendly, confidential and non-judgemental way.

Gay Switchboard Dublin
Gay Switchboard Dublin's provides a confidential telephone support service. We offer listening support and information to all our callers without being directive or judgmental. Our service is available to the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender community, their parents, families and friends, and to anyone who has issues relating to sexuality.

Outhouse
Outhouse is a resource and community centre for the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered communities in Dublin. Outhouse has come about through the efforts of people who have been working since 1994 to provide a focal point for our communities.

Transgender Equality Network Ireland (TENI)
Transgender Equality Network Ireland (TENI) is a non-profit organisation supporting the transgender community in Ireland in all its variety.

Support in Mid West

Limerick Gay and Lesbian Helpline
This service provides information on the local scene, counseling services and information on other services available all around Ireland. Calls have been logged from Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgendered individuals seeking information and support around many varied issues, including issues around being fearful about coming out of the closet, help and support around their lifestyle and issues around discrimination and homophobia that they have encountered.

Rainbow Support Services
Rainbow Support Services is a charity organisation that works towards supporting the LGBT community in the mid - west region, covering Limerick City, Limerick County, County Clare and North Tipperary.

Support in North East

Dundalk Outcomers
Dundalk Outcomers are a social and support group for LGB people in the north east of Ireland. If you would like to speak in confidence to us our volunteer run helpline is open from 8 to 10pm on Thursday evening. We also offer a befriending service. If you would like to meet with two of our volunteers to talk in person, or to join our group please call us.
